Readout Memos
A readout memo is a short record after a channel is looked at. It separates what the readout stated from what the desk will not infer.
Memo parts
Channel name as given by the sender
Date of the readout
The figure that was actually on the readout
The inference the desk refuses to add
Next written step, which may be “no change”
Returns
The memo does not guarantee revenue, installs, or a ranking.
